The rider must compete in the hunter show ring in a minimum of five open shows under the coaching direction of either Lynn or Vicky. These may include open shows held at Hunter Green Equestrian Centre. The rider must have at least one "clean trip" per show.

The rider must be taking a minimum of two riding lessons per week.
